Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Scooter Social is currently in the process of implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) process for all users.

Presently, Scooter Social has not mandated the use of any Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) methods. We will however be switching this on soon.

As we approach the rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication, all users will be sent an email 7 days before the mandatory cutover date to advise of the change, the reason for the change, how the change will affect them, how the change will affect their experience and how to use it.

We understand that additional authentication methods can be time consuming, frustrating and make the platform less attractive however provide much more secure user experiences, data and security layers and provides peace of mind.

Scooter Social is currently evaluating grace periods for devices (such as personal phones) to not require an authenticated token as regularly as a web-browser, and we will be constantly updating this page with additional resources as we get closer to full implementation.

It is highly recommended you bookmark this article as the most current, up to date information will be shared in this article.
